La Reserva Golf Sotogrande
Course Summary
The La Reserva golf course was designed by Cabell B. Robinson and is one of the best courses on the Costa del Sol. The course was first opened in 2003 and features an Arabian style club house, which was opened in 2004.
If you are playing La Reserva course during your golf holiday here in Spain, you will find that it is very challenging, even for those with low handicaps. The fairways are generously wide and the greens are fairly large, which will encourage plenty of attacking approach shots.
Each hole provides five different tee positions which means that it is suitable for golfers of all abilities.
All in all, the course measures over 6,700 metres (Tournament tees) is a par 72 and covers approximately 72 hectares of land. Its slightly elevated position means that it also offers some spectacular coastal views.
“This golf course requires players to use all the clubs in their bag. It’s very entertaining and can be made either easy or difficult. The course is very large featuring wide fairways and greens, in addition to being very well contoured”. – Santiago Luna (Four-time Spanish national champion)
